Motorola has silently launched the 32GB version of Moto X (2nd Gen) in the country recently. Moto X (2nd Gen) was originally launched in India back in September, having 16GB internal storage. Motorola has priced the 32GB Moto X (2nd Gen) in the country at Rs. 32,999 and it comes in black and royal blue colours.

Motorola is pretty swift in rolling out the Android updates to its offerings and the same was evident with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update. Now, it appears like the vendor has surpassed Google by being the pioneer to rollout the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Moto X (2nd Gen) Pure Edition and Moto G (2nd Gen) US GSM and Global GSM versions.

Following the launch of Android 5.0 Lollipop, Motorola that teamed up with Google for the Nexus 6 confirmed its plans of rolling out the update. A slew of its smartphones including Moto E, Moto G (LTE, 2013 and 2014), Moto X (2013 and 2014), Droid Maxx, Droid Ultra and Droid Mini will be receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

After launching the new Moto G in the country earlier this month, Motorola has finally launched the new Moto X in the Indian market. The new Moto X was originally unveiled earlier this month and comes with high-end specifications and improved build quality compared to its predecessor. The smartphone comes in black colours with aluminum frame along with leather and wood back variants.

After a long wait, Motorola on Friday along with new Moto G and Moto 360 also took the wraps off the next generation Moto X smartphone. The new Moto X comes with high-end specifications and improved build quality compared to its predecessor. The smartphone comes in black and white colours with aluminum frame and 25 back finishes including leather and wood via Moto Maker.

Motorola has planned to host an event on September 5 in India and it is evident that the firm will be launching those devices that will be announced at the September 4 event in Chicago in the country. In the meantime, one of the highly anticipated smartphones from the manufacturer – the sequel to the Moto G has been spotted in the import data tracking site Zauba by PriceBaba. As per these details, Motorola has imported over 70,000 units of the handset codenamed Moto XT1068 to India tipping the immediate availability of the device.

The Moto X+1 has been leaked numerously in the past suggesting the details of the device. Now, a fresh new render of the device has been revealed by Twitter leakster @evleaks as a gift to fans after the announced retirement. The leaked render shows the handset with a similar design as the prototype units that were leaked out previously.

Rumors are rife regarding the Moto X+1, the sequel to the Moto X smartphone launched last year. The handset is believed to go official anytime soon alongside the Moto 360 smartwatch. According to the latest reports, the Moto X+1 is codenamed Motorola XT1097 and it was spotted on Geekbench revealing some of its possible specifications.

LivrariaLogos appears to be involved in creating a pre-order page (now removed) for the Moto X+1 smartphone. Considering the track record of this website and its accurately leaked details about the Moto E prior to its launch, we are forced to believe that the handset will go official soon.

But, the vendor is also in talks to launch the successor of Moto X dubbed Moto X+1. The Indian press invite is similar to the London one, reading "Made to last." and "Priced for all." Motorola is expected to announce Moto E budget-Android smartphone on that day.

Motorola has been having a dream run off late and it is all set to take it further from here by launching the successor of the Moto X. A new device with a model number XT912A has shown up on a popular benchmarking website GFXBench, which is used for testing graphics standards of the device. The model number of Motorola Droid Razr is XT912, so the XT912A could possibly be the successor of Droid Razr.

Twitter leaker @evleaks which has been known to leak information about upcoming devices has recently leaked information about another device. According to @evleaks, the successor of Moto X will be named Moto X+1, which could take things above and beyond with new back panels which are expected to feature some pretty high quality materials like leather backs and wooden options.
