Motorola launched the Moto G (2nd gen), Moto X (2nd gen) and Moto 360 smartwatch in the Indian market last month. The new Moto G and the new Moto X are already up for sale in the country and soon Motorola will be releasing the Moto 360 smartwatch too. Now, Flipkart listing of Moto 360 has revealed the pricing of the smartwatch — which is Rs. 17,999, more than the Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch smartwatches.
There is no word on when the smartwatch will be available for purchase, but it won't be too long. The listing also reveals that Motorola will be releasing only the Grey Leather variant of Moto 360 in the county. There is no word on the release of Black leather and Steel strap variant Moto 360 in the country.
On the specifications front, Moto 360 comes with a 1.56-inch backlit LCD display with resolution of 320 x 290 pixels, 205 ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Texas Instruments (TI) OMAP 3 processor, 512MB RAM and Android Wear platform. The watch is 11.5mm thick and weights just 49 grams.
Other specifications include 4GB internal storage, optical heart rate sensor, pedometer, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and 320mAh battery with wireless charging support. The watch is waterproof, up to 3.3′ for up to 30 minutes and be compatible with device running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher.
Similar to other Android Wear smartwatches, the Moto 360 is also voice activated, and comes with single physical button for waking up the device, vibration motor and dual microphones.
