Android Wear powered Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch now available in India for Rs. 15,900 and Rs. 14,999

This year's Google I/O 2014 keynote brought loads of stuffs including the L version of Android along with Android Auto, Android TV and Android Wear platforms. Samsung announced its first Android Wear powered smartwatch, the Gear Live at I/O 2014 and was listed as "Coming Soon" on Google Play last week. Now, the same is available for purchase in India from Play Store for Rs. 15,900, with shipping starts in two - three weeks.

Google detailed the Android Wear platform on Wednesday at Google I/O 2014 keynote speech. The search engine giant their debuted a new Android Wear powered smartwatch. Dubbed as Samsung Gear Live, it's the first smartwatch from Samsung running on Android Wear operating system rather than its home grown Tizen. Along with Samsung Gear Live, Google also demoed the LG G Watch and Moto 360 at the event.

Samsung is all set to launch its first smartwatch based on the Android Wear platform at the Google I/O event. But it looks like that the Korean manufacturer couldn’t keep its details under the wraps and they have leaked on to the interweb before the launch. The watch will go by the name of Gear Live and will be showcased later today at the I/O event. Post the unveiling the smartwatch will be launched on July 7th, which is merely a couple of weeks away.
