Samsung releases timeline map for Galaxy Note 4 launch, India launch expected on October 10th

Samsung has officially announced that it will debut the global rollout of the Galaxy Note 4 on October 11 for the South-East Asia markets during a press event in Singapore. As per the firm, Singapore will be the first market in that particular region to receive the phablet and it will be followed by other markets such as Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Laos and Indonesia from October 13th to October 25th.

Samsung has officially announced that it will debut the global rollout of the Galaxy Note 4 on October 11 for the South-East Asia markets during a press event in Singapore. As per the firm, Singapore will be the first market in that particular region to receive the phablet and it will be followed by other markets such as Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Laos and Indonesia from October 13th to October 25th.

Besides revealing that the fourth generation Note phablet will go on sale in Singapore on October 11th for S$1,088, the vendor also confirmed that the market will be getting the LTE-Advanced variant, while the rest of the countries will receive either the 3G or 4G variant based on the network support. As of now, the pricing of the Galaxy Note 4 in the other markets is not mentioned and it will be announced at the time of launch.

In addition to the launch details of the phablet for the South-East Asian markets, Samsung has posted an infographic of the Galaxy Note 4 launch schedule on its official Facebook page (removed). In this image, the vendor has made it pretty clear on when the phablet will be launched across the world. Going by this image, the Indian consumers will be getting the Note 4 on October 10th, but we are yet to get an official confirmation from the South Korean tech giant regarding the same.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launch dates

When it comes to specifications, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor or 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos 5433 processor (depending on the region), 3GB RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The smartphone is 8.5mm thick and weights 176 grams. 

Other specifications include an 16MP rear camera with Smart OIS, 3.7MP front facing shooter with Selfie and Wide Selfie feature, 32GB internal storage with upto 64GB expandable using microSD card and 3,220 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE Cat 4 or Cat 6 / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac MIMO PCle, Bluetooth 4.1 BLE ANT+, NFC, IR LED, USB 2.0, MHL 3.0 and GPS / GLONASS.
