Google started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Nexus 5, WiFi only Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013) and Nexus 10 devices starting November 12th, Nexus 4 was the only exception. Couple of days after releasing the Lollipop update for four Nexus devices, Google has published the factory image of Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Nexus 4 smartphone.
Along with the factory images, Google has also released the Android 5.0 binaries for the same. The Android Lollipop over-the-air (OTA) update for Nexus 4 smartphone is also live. The update weights in at 400MB in size and is rolling out in batches, so it might take sometime to reach on your smartphone.
If you are eager to taste Lollipop on your Nexus 4, then you can manually flash the Android 5.0 image on your Nexus 4, but do note that all your data will be lost.
There is still no word on when the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for 3G / LTE variants of Nexus 7 (2012 & 2013) will be released.
