Furthermore, LG has claimed that in select countries, the LG G Watch R would be available for grabs via the Google Play Store similar to the Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch.

Going by the specifications, the G Watch R arrives with a 1.3-inch circular Plastic OLED display with a resolution of 320x320 pixels. Also, the device arrives with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor teamed up with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage space. The other aspects of the Android Wear based smartwatch include a 410 mAh battery and IP67 certificate to make it water and dust resistant.

The greatest rival of the LG G Watch R will be the Motorola Moto 360 as they both are similar in terms of specifications and shape. While LG is yet to announce the pricing of the LG G Watch R, it is expected to cost €299 in Europe and $299 in the US.
