HTC Desire 320 entry-level smartphone with KitKat unveiled

Though everyone was expecting the long rumoured HTC One (M9) to get showcased at the CES 2015 tech show, HTC instead has announced the successor of the Desire 310 smartphone. Dubbed as HTC Desire 320, the smartphone comes with entry-level specifications and will be released in the UK market first in the coming weeks in White and Gray colours.

Though everyone was expecting the long rumoured HTC One (M9) to get showcased at the CES 2015 tech show, HTC instead has announced the successor of the Desire 310 smartphone. Dubbed as HTC Desire 320, the smartphone comes with entry-level specifications and will be released in the UK market first in the coming weeks in White and Gray colours.

There is no word on pricing details yet. HTC has also revealed that the Desire 320 will be available from O2 Germany soon. 

Specifications-wise, HTC Desire 320 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 512MB / 1GB RAM (depending on the region) and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense UI on top. The smartphone measures 132 x 67.79 x 10.5 mm and weights 145 grams.

Other specifications include an 5MP rear camera, VGA (0.3MP) front facing camera, 4GB / 8GB internal storage (region dependent) with microSD card support and 2100 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS.
