LAVA has silently announced two new budget Android smartphones in the country couple of weeks ago. Dubbed as LAVA Iris X1 Mini and LAVA Iris X1 Grand, the smartphones are new addition in the company's Iris series and features same design philosophy like the original Iris X1. According to LAVA, both the smartphones are now available across the country both via brick and mortar stores and online.
Both the LAVA Iris X1 Mini and Iris X1 Grand comes in Black, While Silver and White Gold colours. LAVA has priced the X1 Mini at Rs. 4,348, whereas the Iris X1 Grand will cost Rs. 7,326. The Iris X1 Grand also comes with intelligent Flip cover.
In terms of specifications, the Iris X1 Grand comes with a 5.0-inch FWVGA IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, Mali-400 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with promised Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Other specifications include a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with microSD card support and 2,200 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
On the other hand, the Iris X1 Mini comes with a 4.0-inch FVGA IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Other specifications include a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, a VGA (0.3MP) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with microSD card support and 1,750 mAh battery.
