Chinese smartphone manufacturer Lenovo had announced two budget Android smartphones in the Indian market last month. Dubbed as Lenovo A6000 Plus and Lenovo A7000, the former is an upgraded version of the Lenovo A6000, whereas the latter was originally unveiled at the MWC 2015 in March.
Lenovo has priced A6000 Plus in the country at Rs. 7,499. On the other hand, the Lenovo A7000 costs Rs. 8,999. The former comes in black, white, yellow and red color options, and the latter comes only in black and white colours.
Both the smartphones are available exclusively from online retailer Flipkart through flash sales, which has become a trend in the Indian market. Comparing the A6000 Plus with A6000, the upgraded version comes with increased storage and bigger RAM. Rest of the specs are similar to that of the A6000.
Talking of the specifications, Lenovo A6000 Plus comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe 2.0 UI on top. The smartphone is 8.2 mm thick and weights 128 grams.
Other specifications include a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable using microSD card and 2,300 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
On the other hand, Lenovo A7000 sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, 1.5GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6752M processor, Mali-T760 GPU, 2GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top. The smartphone measures 152.6 x 76.2 x 7.9 mm and weights 140 grams. According to Lenovo, the A7000 is the first smartphone to feature Dolby Atmos sound enhancements.
Additional specs include a 8MP rear camera with LED flash, a 5MP front facing selfie camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable using microSD card and 2,900 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
