Motorola, the Lenovo-owned firm, has started sending out press invites to the India tech media for the launch of Moto X Force in the country. The smartphone is scheduled to launch on February 1st at an event held in Delhi. Moto X Force is the world's first smartphone with shatterproof display technology and was originally announced back in October 2015.

The smartphone not only features shatterproof display, but is also packed with high-end specifications, which include 5.4-inch Quad HD 2K AMOLED display with 540 ppi pixel density. In terms of silicon, the Moto X Force is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 430 GPU.
Running Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the X Force is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. On the imagining front, the device has an 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens and LED Flash for video conferencing and clicking selfies.

Internal storage capacity includes 32GB and 64GB options, with expandable storage up to 2TB using microSD card and whooping 3,760 mAh battery with Turbo charging, PMA and Qi wireless technology. The smartphone comes with in Black Ballistic Nylon finish and measures 149.8 x 78 x 7.6-9.2 mm and weights 169 grams.
On the connectivity front, the device comes with 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac 2.4 GHz + 5 GHz with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC support. There is no word on the price of Moto X Force yet.
