Samsung Galaxy Ace Style running Android 4.4.2 KitKat showcased in Germany

Couple of weeks ago we reported that Samsung is planning to launch an entry level smartphone soon with Android 4.4 KitKat on board. It looks like Samsung has silently showcased the smartphone in Germany. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Ace Style, it is the company's first budget smartphone to run on latest version of Android, Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Samsung showcased the Ace Style at Samsung Roadshow in Hamburg, Germany.

Samsung to launch an entry-level Android 4.4 KitKat running smartphone soon

When Google announced Android 4.4 KitKat, it was meant to be optimised for devices with as low as 512MB RAM. It wasn't intended for devices with older specifications but was instead meant to run smoothly for newer devices with lower set of specifications. Samsung intends on launching an entry level device soon with the model number G310 and it will run on Android 4.4 KitKat.

Samsung mid-range smartphone running Android 4.4.2 KitKat leaked

Samsung is struggling in the mid-range smartphone department courtesy of the budget handsets from various Chinese and Indian vendors. It is due to launch the next flagship, the Galaxy S5 on February 24 but it is quietly working on strengthening its mid-range as well. The details of an upcoming mid-ranger, SM-G310 have just leaked on to the interweb and it looks promising for a mid-ranger.
