XOLO has started rolling-out a new software update for XOLO Play. According to XOLO, the new update brings improvement in performance of the smartphone. XOLO Play was officially launched last month for Rs. 15,999 running on NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor. The phone runs on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, and can be updated to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Unfortunately, the new update does not bring Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on it.

XOLO has officially announced the launch of India's first NVIDIA Tegra 3-powered smartphone, XOLO Play in India for Rs. 15,999. The smartphone was up for pre-order in India last week for Rs. 15,999. According to XOLO, the smartphone is now available for purchase at major retail stores across the country and can also be purchased from XOLO's Official Site.

The XOLO Play, India's First NVIDIA Tegra 3 powered smartphone is up for pre-order in India for a price tag of Rs. 15,999. The smartphone is the upcoming device from XOLO. The Play was spotted yesterday on Official XOLO India website and today it's up for pre-order. Flipkart is exclusively selling the smartphone and is offering a free Sandisk 16GB memory card with it. Currently only Black colour XOLO Play is available with flipkart.

XOLO is ready to launch India's first NVIDIA Tegra 3 powered smartphone in India. XOLO is Lava's sub brand, they have started teasing about XOLO Play, the upcoming smartphone from company on their Facebook page. The company is calling this handset as "the next big thing in gaming", as the smartphone is running on NVIDIA's Tegra 3 Processor, which supports very well by the game developers.
