Sony Xperia Ion Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean now Rolling Out in India and other countries

After rolling out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Update for Xperia Z and Xperia ZL users, now its time for Xperia Ion users to enjoy the same with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. Sony has started rolling out the new Android version update for Xperia Ion in India, Egypt & other European countries. As usual, the update is currently available only via PC companion software for now. The new update is over 470MB in size.

Make sure you have the PC companion software for Xperia Ion installed on your PC or Laptop, if not then you can download it from here. The official change log of this update is not yet available from Sony, but the update should carry the following stuffs - Project Butter Improvement, Google Now Support, Expandable Notifications, Performance Improvement, updates media apps and improvement in Camera Quality.
