"HTC is reportedly building it's own smartphone operating system, which will be targeted more to the Chinese consumers", reports Wall Street Journal. According to WSJ, HTC is currently busy building a new operating system for Chinese consumers, and it look's like, we now have the first look of this new OS in action.
WSJ notes that, it is unclear at this moment whether the new operating system will be based on Android code or a proprietary OS. The report further added saying that, the development of this new OS from HTC is being closely monitored by HTC's Chairwoman, Cher Wong. The company has also started testing devices based on the new operating system and some prototypes have even been sent to the Chinese officials.
If these images actually shows the Sense 5.5 UI, then this will be a big revamp of UI from HTC, just months after they released the Sense 5.0, which in fact also brought big change in UI. But considering the numbers, it might be more possible that the images actually shows the upcoming HTC operating system user interface.
But still, we think that this unseen home-screen interface is of the upcoming HTC Sense 5.5 update.
