Sony Xperia Z2 codenamed Avatar specifications leaked, expected for CES 2014 announcement, IGZO display and Android 4.4 KitKat in toe (more details)

While Sony launched the first One Sony smartphone recently at IFA 2013 Trade Fair in Berlin, dubbed as Sony Xperia Z1 featuring 20.7MP camera, it looks like the rumour and leak mill is already in motion and talking about a certain Sony Xperia Z2. Yeah, you read it right, Sony has started working on upgraded version of original Xperia Z1, and the report mentions a CES 2014 announcement date.

Update: According to AndroidSaS, Sony Xperia Z2 will come with 5.5-inch Full HD IGZO Triluminuous display with pixel density of 540ppi rather than 5.2-inch display and 500ppi density as described earlier. The phone will be powered by same Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB processor with 3GB RAM on it.

On the camera side, Xperia Z2 will have the same 20.7MP rear-facing camera but will have Xenon flash on it rather than LED flash along with 4K video recording support and will come with 3,500 mAh of battery running Android 4.4 KitKat. The sources also say's the same as Esato, the smartphone will be launched at CES 2014 in Las Vegas.

According to randomuser (Esato member), who leaked these details, the model number of Xperia Z1 is said to be C770X and the codename is Avatar.

The phone is said to get equipped with 5.2-inch Full HD IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) Triluminuous display with 500ppi pixel density, Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AB processor, 3GB RAM, 20.7MP rear-facing camera with 4K video recording, 3,200 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat.
