As expected, Sony has officially launched the world's slimmest 5.3-inch smartphone in the Indian market earlier today. Dubbed as Sony Xperia T3, the smartphone was originally announced last month and is just 7mm thick. The Xperia T3 uses a stainless steel frame and comes in Black, White and Purple colour options. Sony has priced the T3 at Rs. 27,990 and will be available across the country starting 28th July.
Talking about the specifications, Sony Xperia T3 comes with a 5.3-inch HD IPS TRILUMINOS display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Xperia T3 is just 7mm thick and weights 148 grams.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and Exmor RS sensor, 1.1MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with expandable up to 32GB using microSD card and 2,500 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS, ANT+ and NFC support.
