The highly-anticipated device of October 2013 is the Google Nexus 5. The smartphone has been leaked dozens of time, in live shots, in 7-minute HD video, and also on Google's own server aka Play Store. It is quite confirmed that Nexus 5 will be released in two colours, Black and White, and we have seen many press renders of Black Nexus 5, luckily, today we have the first press image of Nexus 5 wrapped in White (below), courtesy of @evleaks.
The image of Black Nexus 5 leaked by evleaks looks unfinished, as the sides of the back shot are a little rough, and the camera is notably unrefined, and even the clock shows 7:00, rather than 4:40, as seen on the Nexus 5 image appeared in the Google Play Store.
The images confirms the earlier leaked revamped Android UI, which include, transparent status/navigation bar, revamped icons, and more.
To remind you all, the Google Nexus 5 will come with a 4.95-inch Full HD IPS TFT LCD display with 443 ppi pixel density, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 16GB/32GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), 1.3MP front camera, 2,300 mAh battery, HDMI out via Slimport, microSIM slot & Wireless charging support.
The official launch date is not yet disclosed, but following the recent reports, Google might take the cover off the device any day now, on October 31 or on November 1. What we have to do now, is to just wait and watch.
