HTC unveils 4.3-inch HTC Desire 301e in China, new mid-range smartphone from HTC

HTC has officially unveiled a new mid range Android smartphone in China today. Dubbed as HTC Desire 301e, the smartphone is now listed on official HTC China website. The Desire 301e was first spotted on TENAA database last month. According to HTC listing, the Desire 301e will come in two colours, Black and White.

The pricing and availability details are not yet known, but considering the specifications, HTC might price the smartphone for around $250, but not more than that. The smartphone is likely to be released only in selected Asian markets like China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Coming to the specifications part, HTC Desire 301e comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5 user interface and 512MB RAM. The smartphone is 9.88mm thick.

The phone also comes with 4GB internal storage with microSD card expansion, 5MP rear camera, 0.3MP VGA front camera and 1,650mAh battery. HTC Desire 301e supports 3G connectivity, and also comes with FM Radio.
