After releasing the Android 4.4 update for Nexus 4, Nexus 7 WiFi only versions and Nexus 10, Google has finally started rolling out the same update for the cellular edition of the Nexus 7. The update is now available for both 2012 and 2013 models of the tablet. Google has also finally released the Android 4.4 KitKat update for Nexus 4 users in India.
The update is available via over-the-air (OTA). As Google is rolling out the update in phases, it might take few time to reach on your smartphone or tablet. You can manually check for the update by heading towards Settings > About Phone > Software update.
Android 4.4 will bring a number of changes along, such as, message integration with Hangouts, improved Google Now interface, better backup, updated Phone app with local search, along with awesome Google Photos gallery and more.
