Gionee is all set to launch the successor of Elife E6, the Gionee Elife E7 in Shanghai today at Shanghai Film Museum. The Elife E7 is the company's latest flagship device, which is going to feature some mind blowing specifications. Along with Elife E7, according to Sogi (Taiwanese website), Gionee will also introduce the mini version of the device, featuring swivel camera, similar to Oppo N1.
The Elife E7 will come in 3G and LTE versions, where the 3G variant will feature 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor, and the LTE variant will feature the 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974AC) processor. The smartphone is reported to have 2.33mm narrow bezel with 9.7mm thickness.
Also, the 16GB variant of E7 will feature 2GB RAM, however the 32gig variant will have 3GB RAM on-board. Other specifications include, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Amigo UI on top, 16MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 1/2.3-inch 1.34µm sensor and Sapphire lens along with 8MP front facing camera and 2,500 mAh battery to power the device.
On the other hand, the Elife E7 Mini will feature a 4.7-inch HD IPS display, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 1GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Amigo ROM, 13MP AF swivel (rotating) camera with LED flash, 16GB internal storage and 2,100 mAh battery.
The report also added saying that the Elife E7 will come in two colours, Ceramic White & Metro Black and will be priced at 3,299 Chinese Yuan for the 16GB version, and 3,499 Chinese Yuan for the 32GB version. Whereas, the Elife E7 Mini will be priced at 1,800 Chinese Yuan. The pricing of LTE variant of E7 is not yet disclosed.
These specifications are very different from the earlier leaked specifications, so its better to take these specs with a pinch of salt, as Gionee will be officially unveiling the smartphone next hour. So, stay tuned.
