4-inch Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 specifications and images leaks online, packs 1.2GHz processor & 6Gb RAM (coming soon in India)

Samsung Galaxy S Duos has been a hit for Samsung, and now the company is planning to launch an upgraded version of the smartphone soon. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, the smartphone images and specifications were spotted by Hungarian website, Tech2. Carrying the model number GT-S7582, the smartphone will be replacing the original Galaxy S Duos in a few weeks.

Update: According to Zauba, who tracks India's export and import, Samsung has already shipped hundreds of Galaxy S Duos 2 in India. Also, mobile phone retailer, Mahesh Telecom is reporting that, they will be getting the stocks of S Duos 2 in few days and will be priced at Rs. 11,230 with best buy price of Rs. 10,990. This confirms that the launch is not too far away.

The new and upgraded Galaxy S Duos will come with a 4-inch WVGA (800x480p resolution) display, faster 1.2GHz dual-core processor compared to 1GHz Cortex-A5 processor, 6Gb (Gigabits) of RAM, which translates to 768MB RAM, to take on 512MB RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Other specifications include, 5MP CAF (Continuous Auto Focus) rear camera with ZSL (Zero Shutter Lag), VFA (0.3MP) front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with microSD card expansion and 1,500 mAh battery.

Connectivity series include, Bluetooth v3.0, WiFi and GPS. The smartphone will also come with Multi-Window feature, which allows users to open & access two different applications at the same time, one below the other, as you can see in the image above.

There is no word on when the smartphone will be launched officially, but it won't take too long.
