Few days ago we saw the so-called first images of Galaxy S5 metal frame, and now we have got some more information on next Galaxy S series smartphone. As we reported in our last Galaxy S5 post, the rumour mill just started churning out, and today the mill has begin spinning at full speed. Korean site ET News has shared a lot of new details on Galaxy S5, including details on next-generation Galaxy Gear.

Samsung

According to ET News report, Samsung is planning to start the mass production of Samsung Galaxy S5 somewhere in January and is scheduled to go on sale in March or April 2014.

Samsung will be initially producing 800,000 to 1 million units of Galaxy S5 in January, which will increase up to 6 million in February and 8-10 million by March 2014.

The source is also reporting that there will be two models of Galaxy S5, the first aka "premium model" will come with metal chassis and flexible OLED display and the second aka "normal model" will feature plastic body with non-flexible OLED display.

Also, according to ET News Samsung will be introducing the next-generation Galaxy Gear smartwatch along with Galaxy S5. This upcoming Galaxy Gear is reported to be 15% to 20% thinner than the existing model and will come with more features.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumoured to come with a 5-inch or 5.3-inch display, 64-bit Exynos or Snapdragon processor, 3GB RAM, 16MP rear camera, 4,000 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with updated TouchWiz user-interface.

In addition to the news, according to Galaxy Club report, the Galaxy S5 will feature built-in conference calls between multiple persons with video support. This new feature will let users do video calls with multiple persons at the same time and allow to switch the camera or use both the front and rear camera at the same time.

The video feed of others will be displayed at the bottom of the screen, as you can see in the image below. This feature might come as an update of ChatON or Samsung might debut this exclusively on Galaxy S5.
