Asus officially launches Nexus 7 (2013) in India for Rs. 20,999

Google launched the new Nexus 7 in India last month, and today Asus has officially launched the Nexus 7 (2013) in India for open-market. The Nexus 7 was earlier available for purchase only via Play Store and after Asus announcement, the tablet will also be available in open-market for the same price as Google Play, which is Rs. 20,999 for 16GB WiFi only version and Rs. 27,999 for 32GB LTE version.

Google launched the new Nexus 7 in India last month, and today Asus has officially launched the Nexus 7 (2013) in India for open-market. The Nexus 7 was earlier available for purchase only via Play Store and after Asus announcement, the tablet will also be available in open-market for the same price as Google Play, which is Rs. 20,999 for 16GB WiFi only version and Rs. 27,999 for 32GB LTE version.

There is no word on the availability of 32GB WiFi only version of the tablet. According to Asus, the tablet will be available at Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales and all other leading Retail outlets across India in the coming days. 

Nexus 7 (2013) was originally announced back in July and comes with a 7.02-inch 1920x1200p HD IPS display, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (4.4 KitKat update available).

The tablet also comes with 3,950 mAh battery, 5MP rear camera, 1.2MP front facing camera and 16GB/32GB internal storage. Connectivity series include, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G) 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, wireless charging and SlimPort support.
