Update: After rolling out 4.4.2 update to HTC One and LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Editions, Google has today started rolling the same update to Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition. The update is available for download via OTA, and weighs in at 57.4MB.

According to Android Police, the update for Galaxy S4 GPE brings inclusion of the "Home Screen Tips" widget, which was part of stock Gingerbread build. Also, the HSPA/HSPA+ connections are being displayed as "3G" in the signal indicator rather than "H" like it had in the 4.2.2 and 4.3 builds.

You can download the update from here and flash it manually, only if you aren't interested in waiting for the OTA notification.

And shortly after the 4.4.1 update, Google rolled out the Android 4.4.2 update, which is supposed to fix an issue that Nexus devices are having with SMS and also removes a hidden privacy feature called Apps Ops.

As the update is getting rolled out in batches, it might take some time to reach on your smartphone or tablet. If you don't want to wait, you can download the OTA of HTC One directly from Google's servers and flash it manually. OTA Link.

While the update has reached the HTC One and LG G Pad 8.3 GPEs, it might not take much time to reach the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Z Ultra GPEs.
