5-inch XOLO Q1000 Opus with 1.2GHz Broadcom processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean now on pre-order in India for Rs. 9,999 (now available)

The XOLO Q1000 Opus which was announced last month, is now up for pre-order in India. The Q1000 Opus is the first XOLO smartphone to feature Broadcom chipset, and is also the successor of already available XOLO Q1000. The smartphone is now available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart for Rs. 9,999 and is expected to go on sale next week.

The XOLO Q1000 Opus which was announced last month, is now up for pre-order in India. The Q1000 Opus is the first XOLO smartphone to feature Broadcom chipset, and is also the successor of already available XOLO Q1000. The smartphone is now available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart for Rs. 9,999 and is expected to go on sale next week.

The Broadcom chipset present inside Q1000 Opus is clocked at 1.2GHz, which is the same found on Q1000. The difference is in the GPUs, the Broadcom chipset uses a VideoCore GPU, whereas the MediaTek chipset uses a PowerVR SGX544 GPU.

Specification-wise, the Q1000 Opus comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with 196ppi pixel density, 1.2GHz quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 Cortex-A7 processor, VideoCore IV GPU, 1GB RAM, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and dual-SIM support with dual standby feature.

Other specifications include, 5MP AF rear camera with LED flash, 0.3MP (VGA) front facing camera, 8.95mm thickness, 3G HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, 4GB internal memory with 32GB microSD card support and 2,000 mAh battery.
