Micromax Canvas LapTab to launch in India under Rs. 30,000

The Canvas LapTab which Micromax unveiled last week at Consumer Electronic Show 2014 in Las Vegas will soon be landing in India. Micromax will be launching the Canvas LapTab, company's first dual-boot Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1 laptop and tablet hybrid in India next month. According to PTI, the Canvas LapTab will be priced under Rs. 30,000 ($500).

The pricing was revealed to PTI by Micromax Co-founder Rahul Sharma — "The Laptab will be priced under $500 for the Indian market and we expect to sell about 100,000 units in the domestic market in the first half of 2014".

To remind you all, Micromax Canvas LapTab comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280x800 pixel resolution, 1.46GHz Intel Celeron N2805 processor, 2GB RAM, 2MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage with up to support for 64GB microSD card and 7,400 mAh battery.

The LapTab also comes with a detachable keyboard dock, which has its own 230 mAh battery, HDMI port, one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0 and support for Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi.
