Micromax officially announces Canvas LapTab at CES 2014, a dual-boot Android and Windows 8.1 tablet

Micromax has officially announced a dual-boot Android and Windows tablet at Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas today. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas LapTab, the latest offering runs on both Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1. The Canvas LapTab will go on sale in India next month. No word on pricing yet.

Micromax has officially announced a dual-boot Android and Windows tablet at Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas today. Dubbed as Micromax Canvas LapTab, the latest offering runs on both Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Windows 8.1. The Canvas LapTab will go on sale in India next month. No word on pricing yet.

Micromax Canvas LapTab comes with a 10.1-inch IPS display with 1280x800 pixel resolution, 1.46GHz Intel Celeron N2805 processor and 2GB RAM.

The LapTab also features a 2MP front facing camera, 32GB internal storage with expandable upto 64GB via microSD card and 7,400 mAh battery. Connectivity series include Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. 

Micromax has also bundled LapTab with a transleeve, which doubles up as a cover and a wireless keyboard, which has its own 230 mAh battery.
