The rumours of Nokia launching its first ever Android device, the Normandy aka Nokia X have been doing rounds for a while now and the same have now reached their peak. The device has now leaked again with updated specs which are now a bit different from the previous leaks. The smartphone will come with a 4-inch WVGA display and will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat but will not have support for Google Play.
At the back will be a 5MP camera. Wi-Fi with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth and GPS will be present as well but 3G connectivity is still uncertain. It will be given the juice via a 1,500 mAh battery. It will get Android application support from Nokia Store for apps like Facebook, Twitter and the likes and a third party application support too but lack of Play store might affect many.
At the same time, Nokia's Facebook page and Twitter banners have gone green (Androidified version of green) which is the colour of Android instead of the Nokia's deep blue colour which has forever been associated with it. The smartphone has had its price leaked as well and the company will launch the smartphone for a competitive price of $110, thus hinting towards a sub Rs. 7,000 price tag in India.
