We have been hearing about the Google Nexus smartwatch since last year. The smartwatch came in news during the Nexus 5 announcement, and last month prolific leaker @evleaks and TechCruch reported that the smartwatch is indeed real and will be debuting this year at the Google's I/O 2014 event in June. Now, @evleaks has leaked the first alleged specifications of the upcoming smartwatch.

Google Nexus smartwatch mock-up

According to @evleaks, Google smartwatch (lets name it Google Nexus for now) will be made by LG, and will feature similar internals like Gear 2, apart from lower-resolution.

@evleaks reveals that the upcoming LG-made Google Nexus smartwatch will come with a 1.65-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 280 x 280 pixels, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. With 512MB RAM, the smartwatch should be able to run on Android 4.4 KitKat.

There is no word on processor and battery of the smartwatch. Also its unclear, whether the Google's smartwatch will feature camera or not. If the rumours are believed to be true, then Google will be announcing the smartwatch at Google I/O 2014 event in June, which is just three months away. And we are sure we will get to know more about the smartwatch in the coming weeks.
