LG G Pro 2 launching soon in India for Rs. 49,900, comes with a 5.9-inch FHD display, 3GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat

LG is all set to launch the successor of LG Optimus G Pro in the Indian market. Dubbed as LG G Pro 2, the smartphone was originally announced back in February 2014. LG started the global roll-out of G Pro 2 starting from March with Asian-markets being the top priority. Now according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, LG will price the G Pro 2 in India at Rs. 49,900, which is the MOP of the device. The MRP will be Rs. 51,500.

LG is all set to launch the successor of LG Optimus G Pro in the Indian market. Dubbed as LG G Pro 2, the smartphone was originally announced back in February 2014. LG started the global roll-out of G Pro 2 starting from March with Asian-markets being the top priority. Now according to Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, LG will price the G Pro 2 in India at Rs. 49,900, which is the MOP of the device. The MRP will be Rs. 51,500.

The retailer claims to have the stocks of the device in the next few days, meaning that the official launch could happen in a week or two. The LG G Pro 2 comes in three colours, Black, White and Titanium.

Specifications-wise, the LG G Pro 2 comes with a 5.9-inch Full HD IPS display, 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with Optimus UI on top.

Other specifications include 13MP rear camera with OIS+ (Optical Image Stabilization Plus), 2.1MP front facing camera, 16GB / 32GB internal storage with support for microSD card and 3,200 removable battery.

LG has also added host of new features to its Optimus UI such as Knock Code, Content Lock, Mini View, Dual Browser and many more. Camera features include 4K Ultra HD video recording, Slow-motion editing, Burst Shot and Gallery Collage, just to name a few.
