The company has hinted towards launching the next flagship, the LG G3 in the second quarter of 2014 which is good news for many as it comes right after its specs and images were leaked. The Korean firm also plans on launching more mid rangers under the L-III series of smartphones with wider roll-out.

“Higher revenues are expected in the second quarter with the release of the flagship LG G3 smartphone and wider roll-out of the mass-tier L Series III,” is what LG said and that confirms a lot of things for us.

LG has not released any details about the device but as per previous reports, the LG G3 is expected to come with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 3GB of RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with revamped Optimus UI.

The smartphone is also said to come with a 16MP rear camera, 2.2MP front facing camera, 32GB of internal memory with support for expandable memory using a microSD card and 3,000 mAh battery. There are claims that the LG G3 will be waterproof.

Well, all these are speculations and they will come to light only when the smartphone is launched. One third of the Q2 2014 has passed and the launch of the next flagship is surely right around the corner.
