The Xperia A2 has been spotted in a NTT DoCoMo brochure. The smartphone bears the codename Altair, and is speculated to the miniature variant of the Xperia Z2 and appears to arrive in four color options which include Grey Black, White, Lavender and Orange

The report also reveals a partial spec sheet of the alleged Xperia A2 smartphone suggesting that it will include a 4.3-inch HD display similar to the Xperia Z1 Compact. Also, it is rumored to be powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM.

It should be noted that the Xperia Z1 Compact is just three months old and Sony won't release the successor of the same so soon. So, it is highly possible that the Xperia A2 could be the successor of Xperia A and not the Xperia Z2 Compact.
