Motorola announced the Moto X smartphone in India last month for a price of Rs. 23,999. The smartphone was initially available in five colour options. Now, the vendor has released the latest variant of the phone in India that features a Teak and Walnut finish as wood works. The Moto X Walnut and Teak is now available for purchase from e-commerce portal Flipkart for a price of Rs 25,999.
The wood back of Moto X Teak & Walnut features distinct grains and natural finish and it has a unique curved back that can comfortably fit into the user’s hands. The specifications of these variants of Moto X remain the same as the original Moto X variant launched last month.
To recap on the specs, the Moto X comes with a 4.7-inch HD AMOLED display with Active Display technology. It is equipped with a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2GB of RAM for multi-tasking.
Fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Moto X features a 10MP Clearpixel (RGBC) rear camera with Quick Capture feature, LED flash and FHD video recording alongside a 2MP front-facing shooter for making video calls. There is 16GB of internal storage capacity that cannot be expanded externally owing to the lack of a microSD card slot.
Other goodies in the handset include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Miracast and a 2,200 mAh battery. Besides these hardware specs, the Moto X comes with a slew of features including the ‘Ok Google Now’ voice command feature and it is painted with a water- repulsive coating.
