Samsung Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit now available in India for Rs. 21,550 and Rs. 15,450

Samsung announced the Galaxy S5, along with Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit in India last month. The same started taking the pre-order of the Galaxy S5 two days after the official announcement in India. The Korean giant has now started selling the Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and the Gear Fit in India from the official Samsung India eStore.

Samsung Gear 2

Samsung Gear 2 comes in Golden Brown & Titanium Silver colours and is priced at Rs. 21,550. On the other-hand, both the Gear 2 Neo and the Gear Fit are priced at Rs. 15,450, with Gear 2 Neo comes in Gray and Black colour.

The devices are compatible with more than dozens of Samsung Galaxy smartphones for the time being. Interested buyers can order the device from the official store, but the shipments will begin from April 11th. All the three devices will be available in India starting April 11th, along with the Galaxy S5. 

Samsung Gear 2 Neo

Specifications-wise, the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo comes with a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display of 320 x 320 pixels resolution, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM and Tizen OS. The Gear 2 features an 2MP camera. Other specifications include 4GB internal memory, 300 mAh battery and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. All the three devices mentioned above are IP67 certified i.e. water and dust resistant.

On the other-hand, the Gear Fit comes with a 1.84-inch Curved Super AMOLED display. The device has a heart rate sensor built into it which somehow makes it a personal trainer. It has standard 210 mAh battery. You can sync the Gear Fit with your smartphone via Bluetooth and it will show all the notifications but you can't accept or make calls, however you can reject a call.

In related to the news, Samsung has released a new update for the Gear Fit in South Korea, which brings an option to enable vertical display orientation, which was not available in the device previously. The update is currently rolling out to the early test units of the device. No word on when the update will be rolled out globally. (Via)
