Samsung SM-T800 alleged specifications leaked, to come with a 10.5-inch AMOLED display, quad-core processor and more
It appears like Samsung is pretty bad in maintaining its secrets as the company’s upcoming offerings have all surfaced online well before their launch. Now, it seems to be turn of the new 10.5-inch tablet to spread rumors across the tech media world. As per SamMobile, Samsung is prepping a 10.5-inch tablet fitted with AMOLED display and that the device carries the model name SM-T800.
It is claimed that the SM-T800 is a Wi-Fi only tablet featuring a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display packing a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It is suggested to come stuffed with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor complimented by 2GB of RAM. The tablet will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and will include an 8MP primary camera at the rear along with a 2MP front-facing snapper.
The SM-T800 is tipped to come in three configurations – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage options alongside an external microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB additional memory. A juicy 7,900mAh battery could be placed inside the tablet coupled with the company’s latest software features, introduced with the Galaxy S5.
Going by Samsung’s tradition, the company always announces two variants of its devices – one equipped with Snapdragon chipset and the other with Exynos processor. The Exynos variant of the tablet is supposed to hold SM-T805 as its model number. The same was found listed on the GFXBench website last month revealing all the specifications.
