Nokia XL with 5-inch display, quad-core processor, forked Android now available in India for Rs. 11,348

Nokia XL, Nokia's one of the first ever Android-powered smartphone has finally landed in India. The smartphone is now available in India from various online retailers including official Nokia Shop at varying prices. The Nokia XL comes in array of colours including Black, White, Cyan, Orange, Green and Yellow. The smartphone is available from Snapdeal for Rs. 11,348, while Infibeam is selling the same for Rs. 11,350.

Even Nokia's official online shop has listed the Nokia XL for sale for Rs. 11,489. Not only that, TheMobileStore is selling the Nokia XL for as low as Rs. 11,049. The pricing of Nokia XL seems to be a bit higher, considering we can get even more better phone for much lower price. There is no word on when the Nokia X+ would go on sale in India and at what price, but we expect it to happen soon.

The Nokia X series (X, X+ and XL) smartphones runs on AOSP (Android Open Source Program) build of Android, with Microsoft's Could Services, not Google's.  

On the specifications front, the Nokia XL comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD WVGA display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Play (MSM8225) processor, 768MB RAM and dual-SIM support.

The smartphone is 10.8mm thick and weights 190 grams. Other specifications include an 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable memory up to 32GB using microSD card and 2,000 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
