Samsung has scheduled the launch event of there next generation Galaxy Note device in Berlin on September 4th, 2013, reported AndroidGeeks. According to them, Samsung will hold a Unpacked Event on September 4 in Berlin, just two days before the kick off of IFA 2013 where they will showcase their next flagship device, Samsung Galaxy Note 3. As we all know, the first Galaxy Note device was showcased at IFA 2011 while the Galaxy Note II was unveiled at Samsung Unpacked Event last September, just two days before IFA Opening and this time Samsung is planning to do the same with Galaxy Note 3 as they did with Note 2.

Some previous reports were pointing towards ahead of schedule launch due to the low sales of Samsung Galaxy S4, which had sold 10 million units in the first month. This year the phablet is going to have a lot of competition from other manufactures like Sony's Xperia Z Ultra, HTC's upcoming HTC T6 or say the phablet sized HTC One dubbed as HTC One Max with LG's doubted LG G2 (No way to confirm that whether its a smartphone or a phablet with more than 5.0-inch display).

Till now, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is rumoured to feature a 5.99-inch flexible AMOLED display, to overcome the Galaxy S4 sales, or to come in two different display variant, one with AMOLED display and other with LCD display, due to the shortage of OLED display panels for the phablet.

The phablet is also rumoured to run a 2.3GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 Processor with 2GB RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, 13MP rear camera and come with LTE-A support.

Update: According to Unwired View, Industry sources are confirming that the upcoming Note 3 will have 5.7-inch display rather than rumoured 5.99-inch screen. The phablet will also offer LTE-A connectivity, which offers next-generation network speed, twice that of regular LTE, as high as 150Mbps. The world's first handset with LTE-A connectivity is the Samsung's Galaxy S4 LTE-A with Snapdragon 800 processor, so it's obvious that Samsung might announce the next-generation Galaxy Note 3 with LTE-A support and SD800 CPU.
