The Android 4.4.3 KitKat update has already hit the Nexus devices and the Google Play Edition devices. Now, it is time for the update to be announced for the other smartphones. As per details revealed by Android Geeks, a leaked document suggests that the unlocked version of the current Samsung flagship model Galaxy S5 bearing the model number SM-G900H will be receiving the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update later this month.
It has to be noted that this model is compatible with select carriers such as the ones in US, Canada and Latin America. Besides this unlocked variant, another version of the Galaxy S5 will also be receiving the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update in June and it is SM-G900F. This is none other than the international version of the flagship model.
In addition to revealing the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update schedule for Galaxy S5, the report also sheds light on when the yesteryear flagship model – Galaxy S4 will be receiving the update. As per the report, the build is being tested on the device and this testing is in the final phase.
It has to be noted that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat is a minor update and both Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 will definitely have some bug fixes and performance updates after receiving the build. We suggest you to take the document with a pinch of salt.
