The current Android logo’s word mark has remained unchanged ever since the platform was announced, but it appears like it is the time for Google to modify it. A system dump of the upcoming LG G Watch based on Android Wear was revealed by Twitter bound @upleaks and this shares some interesting details along with the alleged new Android logo.

Firstly, the boot animation of the LG G Watch that has been extracted from the system dump has been leaked. As this smartwatch is based on Android Wear, the boot animation is believed be the common Android Wear animation, however it remains to be unclear if it is the generic one or a specific one meant for the LG G Watch.

Interestingly, the boot animation reveals the Android word mark in a new font. While it remains unknown if this is the new Android logo, it will come to light during the official announcement of the same expected to happen at the Google I/O Conference.

The other details revealed by the leaked system dump are a set of watch-faces, backgrounds and status cards. The system dump also reveals that the G Watch is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 SoC clocked at 787MHz, Adreno 305 GPU, 512MB RAM and Android 4.4W KitKat designed for Android Wear.
