Along with Oppo N1 Mini, Oppo earlier today has officially announced a new mid-range Android smartphone. Dubbed as Oppo R3, the smartphone is a new addition in the company's R series and is the successor of Oppo R1. Oppo R3 comes in white and black colours and is priced at 2,299 Chinese Yuan ($369). According to Oppo, the R3 will be available in China later this month.
On the specifications front, Oppo R3 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display, 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat with Oppo's Color OS 1.4 on top. The R3 is just 6.3 mm thick and weights 140 grams.
Other specifications include an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front facing camera, 8GB internal storage with microSD card support and 2,420 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and GPS.
