Oppo Find 7 with Quad HD display and Find 7a with Full HD display officially launched in India for Rs. 31,990 and Rs. 37,990

As promised, Oppo has officially announced the launch of the Oppo Find 7 in the Indian market today at an press event held in New Delhi. Along with Find 7, the Chinese manufacturer has also launched the low-cost variant of Find 7 in India dubbed as Oppo Find 7a. Both the Find 7a and Find 7 comes in black and white colours and are priced at Rs. 31,990 and Rs. 37,990 respectively.

According to Oppo, the Find 7a will go on sale in the country first followed by Find 7. The Find 7a will be available for purchase across India starting June 11th (tomorrow), however the Find 7 will go on sale in the country starting from July 2014.

The smartphones were originally announced earlier this year in March. Design-wise, both the smartphones looks exactly similar to each other, with difference only in hardware.

Talking about the specifications, the Oppo Find 7 comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) display with pixel density of 538 ppi along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Touch-on-Lens technology. The device is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM and also comes with a 32GB internal storage with up to 128GB supported microSD card slot and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Color OS 1.2 on top.

The smartphone comes with a 3,000 mAh battery with a new technology called as VOOC, which is capable of charging the battery to 75% in 30 minutes. 

Oppo Find 7

On the imagining front, the Find 7 comes with a 13MP Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor with 6-elements lens, f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. Oppo has stuffed the Find 7 with a new mode called Super Zoom, which takes 10 photos at once and merges them to form a single 50MP image (8160 x 6120 pixels). It also comes with a 5MP front facing camera.

On the other hand, the Find 7a comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with pixel density of 403 ppi, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Color OS 1.2. The smartphone also comes with a 16GB internal storage with expandable storage using microSD card and 2,800 mAh battery with VOOC technology. The Imagination department of Find 7a remains the same as what is found on the original Find 7.

Both the Find 7 and Find 7a supports LTE networks (FDD-LTE & TDD-LTE).
