Samsung SM-G850 with 4.7-inch display, Exynos 5 Octa processor, Android 4.4.4 KitKat spotted on GFXBench

Samsung is readying up a mid-range octa core device for a launch which has shown up on GFXBench website. The model number of the device is SM-G850 and it shares its majority of the specifications barring the processor and storage with the recently leaked SM-G8508S which has a Snapdragon 800 SoC under the hood and 16GB internal storage.

The Samsung SM-G850 is expected to be the Exynos variant of the G8508S and will probably make its way to markets like India to start with. The smartphone as per the listing on the benchmarking website will come with a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Under the hood will be a Exynos 5 Octa processor clocked at 1.8GHz, the same found in the Galaxy Note 3.

The internal storage will be 32GB and RAM will be a 2GB unit. At the back will be a 12MP or 13MP camera coupled with a 2MP unit at the front. It will run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box.

The smartphone is said to be the Neo variant of the Galaxy S5, however according to latest SamMobile tweet the SM-G850 is actually the Galaxy Alpha which got leaked last night.
