The Moto X+1 has been leaked numerously in the past suggesting the details of the device. Now, a fresh new render of the device has been revealed by Twitter leakster @evleaks as a gift to fans after the announced retirement. The leaked render shows the handset with a similar design as the prototype units that were leaked out previously.
It shows aluminum finish at the top, dual front-facing cameras and several sensors at the corners. Also, it shows two back panel options – one in black and the other in wooden finish. Previous rumors speculate that it will be coming in 25 different back plate options including a leather variant.
Motorola is all set to unveil the Moto X+1 along with a slew of other devices at the September 4th launch event scheduled to happen in Chicago and we can see more details regarding the phone then.
If you aren't aware of, Moto X+1 is said to come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot and 4G LTE support.
In a different report, it appears like Motorola is prepping a new smartphone with the model number XT1254. According to the AnTuTu screenshots leaked by Android Authority, the smartphone will feature high-end specifications such as a Quad HD display with resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, 20MP primary snapper and a 2MP front-facing camera.
The Motorola XT1254 is said to be powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.65GHz and be paired with 3GB of RAM. Based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, this Moto phone is claimed to feature 32GB of internal storage space and 4G LTE connectivity. As of now, the other specifications of the device remain unknown.
Moreover, the existence of the XT1254 has been somewhat confirmed as the handset has been spotted at the Bluetooth SIG earlier this month. The smartphone will be headed to Verizon and could be the part of Verizon's Droid line-up. Reports suggest that the device will be called Motorola Droid Turbo. Expect to hear more about XT1254 in the coming weeks.
