New Motorola Moto X launched in India for Rs. 31,999, Leather and Bamboo variants priced at Rs. 33,999
After launching the new Moto G in the country earlier this month, Motorola has finally launched the new Moto X in the Indian market. The new Moto X was originally unveiled earlier this month and comes with high-end specifications and improved build quality compared to its predecessor. The smartphone comes in black colours with aluminum frame along with leather and wood back variants.
Motorola has priced the black colour new Moto X in India at Rs. 31,999, whereas the black leather and bamboo white variants of new Moto X is priced at Rs. 33,999. The smartphone is now available exclusively from online retailer Flipkart. Motorola has not yet revealed any pricing or availability details of Moto 360 smartwatch.
The new Moto X comes with enhanced version of Active Display which include custom Touchless Control prompts along with four noise-cancellation microphones and four IR sensors on the front for hands-free operation like ability to silence calls by waving at the phone. The phone also comes with front facing speakers, similar to Moto E and new Moto G.
On the specifications front, the new Moto X comes with a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 423ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with promised future updates. The smartphone is 9.97mm thick and weights 144 grams.
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage and 2,300 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, NFC support and GPS / GLONASS.
