After announcing the Desire 820 and Desire 820q for the Indian market last month, HTC on Friday has finally revealed the pricing and availability details of the smartphones. The Desire 820 and Desire 820q feature mid-range specifications. HTC has priced the Desire 820 at Rs. 24,990, while the Desire 820q will be available for Rs. 22,500, both starting November 5th.
HTC Desire 820 and Desire 820q comes in range of colours including Marble White, Tuxedo Grey, Santorini White, Milky-way Grey, Tangerine White, Saffron Grey, Flamingo Grey, Blue Mist and Monarch Orange. The phones will be available with dual-SIM support.
On the specifications front, HTC Desire 820 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.0GHz), Adreno 405 GPU, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense UI. The smartphone measures 157.7 x 78.7 x 7.7mm and weights 155 grams.
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 8MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage with expandable upto 128GB using microSD card and 2,600 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, DLNA and GPS / GLONASS.
Whereas, the HTC Desire 820q comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB RAM. Rest of the specifications are exactly similar as the Desire 820.
