But, that’s not all we can expect from Motorola, as the manufacturer is prepping to launch yet another device in its Droid lineup. Few days ago, a manual of the Droid Turbo leaked showing that the device will come to Verizon. Now, more details of the handset have been leaked suggesting what the high-end Motorola smartphone will arrive with.

Motorola is in the headlines since the launch of the second generation Moto G and Moto X smartphones. Lately, the vendor announced the Nexus 6 in collaboration with Google as well. But, that’s not all we can expect from Motorola, as the manufacturer is prepping to launch yet another device in its Droid lineup. Few days ago, a manual of the Droid Turbo leaked showing that the device will come to Verizon. Now, more details of the handset have been leaked suggesting what the high-end Motorola smartphone will arrive with.

The Droid Turbo comes with a chassis that is similar to that of the Droid Maxx in red and black color options. Also, it arrives with 32GB of internal storage space and is speculated to feature a scratch resistant metallized glass fiber with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display and splash repellent aspects enabling the phone to withstand spills and up to 20 minutes of downpour. Furthermore, the Kevlar back panel provides a smooth finish to the device as well.

When it comes to the internal aspects, the Droid Turbo is claimed to be powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The handset features a 5.2-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels that translates to a pixel density of 565 pixels per inch.

When it comes to imaging, the device boasts of a 21MP primary camera with 4K video recording and dual LED flash. Also, there will be camera features such as Quick Capture and video highlights. The report adds that the Turbo will be stuffed with a 3,900 mAh battery that will power up the device providing up to 48 hours of usage. The Droid Turbo is said to come with support for wireless charging and Verizon’s Wireless Calling technology, within three months of launch.

Software wise, the Motorola Droid Turbo is tipped to be fueled by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. Also, it will arrive with features in the Moto X such as Moto Assist, Moto Actions, Moto Voice and Moto Display. The device is likely to pack Droid specific Zap features including Zap Zone, Zap to TV, Zap with Voice and Zap my screen.

If this turns out to be true, the Droid Turbo would be the most amazing smartphone launched by Motorola so far. However, we need to wait for the manufacturer to announce the handset officially, which is happening on October 28th. 

In related to the news, a new series of pictures of Motorola Droid Turbo have been leaked online. The pictures show the boxing for the Droid Turbo with Verizon branding, confirming the exclusivity of the carrier. According to Droid-lifethe phone will be priced at $199 with a 2-year contract or $599 off-contract.
