Moto 360 smartwatch with metal bands goes official, priced at $299

Last week, Amazon put up a brief listing of some new options for Motorola's circular Moto 360 smartwatch. The new options showed diver style metal bands and since then the manufacturer has been teasing the announcement of the same. While these new band options were removed by Amazon instantly, it appears like Motorola is all set to sell some of them. Following a quick announcement via the company’s blog, some new options have been put on sale.

Last week, Amazon put up a brief listing of some new options for Motorola's circular Moto 360 smartwatch. The new options showed diver style metal bands and since then the manufacturer has been teasing the announcement of the same. While these new band options were removed by Amazon instantly, it appears like Motorola is all set to sell some of them. Following a quick announcement via the company’s blog, some new options have been put on sale.

The leather bands with 22mm stone or black variants can be purchased for $249.99. The new metal strap options are priced at $299 for the 23mm black or stainless bands. For the women consumers, there are two 18mm band options as well in gold finish and silver. The gold band can be matched to a gold watch to create a perfect accessory and is priced at $329.99 and they are coming soon.

As of now, there is no sign of the 23mm gold finish or dark brown leather variant that was listed on Amazon. Also, there are no new metal bands for those who have already purchased the Moto 360.

In addition to the new variants of the Moto 360 smartwatch, the manufacturer has also revealed that it will be announcing new watch faces and a Moto Body Android Wear app soon that will be delivered via Motorola Connect application.
