Micromax at IPTL on Monday officially took the wraps off the company's latest smartphone called the Micromax Canvas Selfie. As the name suggests, the smartphone is focused towards selfie lovers and comes with 13MP front facing camera with LED flash, similar to the HTC Desire Eye. The Canvas Selfie comes in White and Blue colours and will be available across the country starting second week of January 2015. There is no word on pricing details yet.
Being a selfie-focused smartphone, Micromax has stuffed the Canvas Selfie with loads of camera-centric features like Eye Enhancement, Face Slimming, Skin Smoothening, Teeth Whitening, Remove Oil, Add Makeup like Mascara, Eye-shadow, Blush, Lip Gloss and more.
On the specifications front, Micromax Canvas Selfie comes with a 4.7-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.7GHz octa-core processor, 2GB RAM and Android 4.4 KitKat. The smartphone comes with leather back and has dual-SIM supports.
Other specifications include an 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, 13MP front facing camera with LED flash, 16GB internal storage with expandable upto 32GB using microSD card and 2,300 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
