Spice Dream Uno H Android One smartphone with Hindi-support launched in India for Rs. 6,499

Dubbed as Spice Dream Uno H, the smartphone is similar to the original Dream Uno in terms of specifications and design, but comes with complete Hindi-user interface.

Spice Mobiles on Wednesday has officially announced the launch of the complete Hindi-language supported version of its Dream Uno Android One smartphone. Dubbed as Spice Dream Uno H, the smartphone is similar to the original Dream Uno in terms of specifications and design, but comes with complete Hindi-user interface.

The Dream Uno H comes with Hindi-UI, Hindi keyboard, Hindi voice-search support and also Hindi-version of popular Google applications like Google Chrome, Google Maps, YouTube and Google Search. The smartphone also include Hindi applications of AajTak, Hungama and Sony Live.

According to Spice, the Dream Uno H is specifically designed for 300 million Hindi speaking population in the country living in states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar. Spice has priced the Dream Uno H at Rs. 6,499 and is said to be available from all major retail stores across the country.

On the specifications front, Spice Dream Uno H comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS LCD display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, Mali-400 MP GPU, 1GB RAM and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The smartphone measures 132 x 67 x 9.15 mm and weights 107 grams.

Other specifications include an 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, 4GB internal storage with expandable upto 32GB using microSD card and 1,700 mAh battery. Connectivity series include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS.
