After few months of speculations, Samsung recently announced array of smartphones including the long-rumoured Galaxy A7 followed by Galaxy E3 and E5 and the Galaxy Grand Max. But, it appears like that is not all as the vendor is having another device to roll out from its sleeve. But, the word abuzz the street suggests that this upcoming device would be a low end model.

Well, the talk is about the Galaxy J1 that surfaced in gossips in December 2014 revealing its possible specifications and now, pages of what appears to be promotional leaflet of the handset have hit the web. The model number of the smartphone is SM-J100 and it seems like it will kick start a new J lineup of devices.

A SamMobile report that has leaked these images clearly shows that the Galaxy J1 boasts of a similar design as the other Samsung models. While nothing else other than the design of the smartphone is revealed by the recent leak, the previous one lets out the complete specifications.

Going by the same, the Galaxy J1 is claimed to arrive with a 4.3-inch display with a WVGA resolution and incorporate a 1.2GHz Marvell PXA1908 processor with support for 64-bit computing and 1GB of RAM. The handset is said to pack in 4GB of internal storage space with support for additional storage.

On the imaging front, the Galaxy J1 is said to boast of a 5MP primary camera and a 2MP front facing snapper and it is also claimed that there will be a 1,850 mAh battery under its hood with Ultra Power Saving Mode. The device is claimed to arrive in four different variants such as dual SIM LTE, dual SIM 3G, single SIM LTE and single SIM 3G.

Notably, it is suggested that the 3G variants will be arriving with VGA (0.3MP) front facing camera unit instead of the 2MP one.

There is no word on pricing or availability details of the smartphone yet.
